Note:
1. Descriptive test of English Language will not be counted for ranking as it will be of qualifying nature only.
2. You need to clear the cut off of each Section separately and also obtain minimum qualifying marks in the online examinations.
Tier-III: LIC AAO 2021 Interview Round
The Interview round for LIC AAO 2021 consists of 60 marks and the minimum qualifying marks for SC /ST/PwD candidates are 27. Candidates not obtaining the minimum qualifying marks, shall be expelled from the further rounds of selection process.
Note:
If more than one candidate has secured same marks in the Mains exam, the merit list shall be prepared according to the aggregate marks secured in the online main examination and in the interview along with their additional post-graduation qualification.

The salary structure of LIC AAO employees is explained below:

Note: The annual increment of LIC AAO is INR 1610, for 14 years from joining date.
Allowances & Benefits:
Dearness Allowance (DRA): The DRA is around 40% of the basic LIC AAO salary which is revised quarterly depending on CPI.
House Rent Allowances (HRA): The HRA can be 7%, 8%, 9% of the basic pay depending upon the area of posting to compensate employees with the cost of living in metropolitan cities.
City Compensatory Allowances (CCA): The CCA might be 3%, 4% or even 0% of the basic LIC AAO pay structure which depends upon the city of posting.
LIC AAO 2021 Job Profile:
The job profile of a LIC AAO employee is actually a desk job which consists of following activities:
a. To Supervise and fill claims and settlements of the customers.
b. Responsible for formulating new schemes and cross checking the already existing policies along with drafting new one.
c. LIC AAO does the regular inspection of existing facts and points out factual errors (if any).
d. Responsible for rendering assistance and coordinating with the respective team members along with other departments as well.
e. To Maintain cordial relations with the customers and providing solutions to their queries/issues.
f. Needs to complete the assigned tasks on time & inform to department authorities.

Nationality
The candidate must be either:
• A Citizen of India,
• A Subject of Nepal,
• A Subject of Bhutan,
• A Tibetan Refugee,
• or A person of Indian origin who had migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of settling in India permanently.
Age Limit:
The applicant’s age must be between 21 years to 30 years.

Education Qualification
The post wise qualification required from candidates are explained below:
Assistant Architect:
The applicant must possess B. Arch. degree from a recognized Indian University/Institution. He/she should also be registered with the Council of Architecture and must possess a minimum of 3 years’ experience in designing all types of buildings with allied services. Applicant should also be very well versed with the green building design requirements along with application of AutoCAD software and/or similar types of software.
For AE (Structural):
The applicant must possess M. Tech / M.E. (Structural) degree from an AICTE recognized Indian University/ Institution. Applicant should be well versed with the structural designs of high-rise buildings with the foundation system. He/she must be familiar with various standards of BIS pertaining to structural design and Foundation design, and must be experienced in handling of structural engineering software like ETABS, STAAD etc. A minimum of 1-year hands-on experience is must for the candidates applying for this post.
For AE (Civil):
The applicant must possess B.Tech/B.E. (Civil) degree from an AICTE recognized Indian University/Institution. Candidate should have a minimum of 3 years working experience in planning and execution of multi-storied building projects with all required infrastructure.
For AE (Electrical):
The applicant must possess B.Tech/B.E. (Electrical) degree from an AICTE recognized Indian University/Institution. Candidate should have a minimum of 3 years working experience in planning and execution of multi-storied building projects with all required infrastructure.
For AE (MEP engineers):
The applicant must possess B. Tech./ B.E. (Mechanical/ Electrical) degree from an AICTE recognized Indian University/Institution. Candidate should have a minimum of 3-years’ experience in planning and execution of Plumbing / Piping / HVAC system, Lift & Fire Fighting System, Electrical Sub-station in multi-storied buildings.
For AAO (Chartered Accountant)
The applicant must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized Indian University/Institution and Candidates should have passed Final Examination of Institute of Chartered Accountant and completion of Articles as presented by Institute of Chartered Accountant. The candidate should be Associate member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Candidates should provide their membership number and the same will be verified with Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
For AAO (Actuarial)
The applicant must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institution and Candidates should have compulsorily passed 6 or more papers of the examination conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India / Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK. as on the date of eligibility i.e. 1st February 2021. Candidates should provide their membership number and the same will be verified with Institute of Actuaries of India / Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK.
For AAO (Legal)
The applicant must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Law or LLM from a recognized Indian University/Institution. Three years of Bar experience is essential.
For AAO (Rajbhasha)
The applicant must possess aPost Graduate Master’s Degree in Hindi/Hindi translation with English as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s Degree level OR Post-Graduate Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s degree level OR Post-Graduate Master’s Degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at Bachelor’s degree level.
For AAO (IT)
The applicant must possess a Graduation degree in Engineering (Computer Science, IT or Electronics), or MCA or MSC (Computer Science) from a recognized Indian University/ Institution.
