Language Proficiency Test

Salary & Job Profile:

LIC Assistant Salary Structure 2021

As per the 7th pay commission, the basic pay of an LIC Assistant is approximately around Rs. 14435. However, the in-hand salary of an LIC Assistant is around Rs.28,000 to Rs.32,000 per month.

That means, the gross salary of the LIC Assistant comes around Rs. 3 to 3.4 Lakhs per annum.

Apart from the basic pay, LIC Assistant is also eligible for other allowances such as:

Medical Allowance, Transport Allowance, HRA, PF, Stationary Allowance, Other Allowances.

LIC Assistant Job Profile 2021

1. The LIC Assistants can be deployed as a Cashier, Customer Service Executive, Single Window Operator & for other clerical services.

2. They are responsible for sanctioning and disbursing the files assigned to them.

3. LIC Assistant look into customer grievances & escalate it as & when needed.

4. They are responsible for managing cash counters at various LIC offices.

5. LIC Assistants need to perform back-office tasks, accounts related tasks, and recovery job as per the work assigned by their supervisors.

LIC ASSISTANT Educational Qualification 2021:

• For General Category Candidates: A Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) in any discipline from a recognized university or institution of India is required.

• For Ex-Servicemen:HSC (10+2+3) Cleared Candidates: Those who have served at least for 10 years
Matriculation Cleared Candidates: Those who have served at least for 15 years
Non-Matriculation Candidates: 15 years of service & Indian Army special certificate exam or corresponding exam in the navy or Air Force.
