(Computer Based Examination / Online exam)
The Prelims & Mains Exams will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions only.
The Paper for Prelims will consist tests of
- General Awareness
- English Language
- Quantitative Aptitude and;
- Reasoning
- The total time duration of the exams will be 120 minutes.
- This paper will comprise a single Paper for 200 marks.
- There is a negative marking of 1/4th mark for every incorrect answer.
- However, separate time will be allotted for each test

RBI GRADE B (2022) Interview Process
Based on aggregate marks obtained in Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III of Phase II exam, candidates will be shortlisted for the interview.
Interview Process will carry 75 marks.
Note:
1. Candidate shall be required to undergo Psychometric Test conducted by the Bank before appearing for the Interview.
2. No marks will be allotted for the same and this will not form part of the final selection criteria.
3. Candidate may opt for interview either in Hindi or English.
4. Final Selection will be through merit list which will be prepared by adding marks secured by candidates in Phase II examination and interview and grace marks as applicable as per extant rules.

RBI Grade B Apply Online 2022:
The application process for RBI Grade B exam is an important step towards applying for this job. You need to carefully fill the application form as any error might result into disqualification of your candidature.
- Step 1: You need to visit the official website of RBI & search for Notification.
- Step 2: Now Click the “official notification” tab to apply for the RBI Grade B 2022 examination and click on the link for online registration page.
- Step 3: Applicants are required to fill in the entire application form giving the details like name, contact number, email address, etc. as per the form.
- Step 4: Now, after submitting the form, the registration number and password will be sent to your registered contact number and E-mail ID.
- Step 5: You must note-down the credentials for future reference and then login again for uploading your photograph, signature, left thumb impression with a self-written declaration.
- Step 6: Now applicants need to fill in their complete academic details in the specified fields.
- Step 7: After completing the above steps, you can review your application form before Final Submit. Candidates must make sure that your application is completely filled without any error before submitting it.
- Step 8: Finally, applicants need to pay the application fee of Rs. 850/- for general category candidates (Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PwD candidates) and Take a print out of the application for future references.

Eligibility Criteria for RBI Grade B
RBI Grade B Eligibility 2022
A candidate must be either:
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a refugee belonging to Tibet who came to India, before the 1st January,1962, for being permanently settled in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar),Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Important Points for Entry:
- Facility for download of Admission Certificates will be available about 3-7 days before the examination on the website of RBI.
- Candidates must bring printout of the Admission Certificate to the Examination Hall.
- In addition to the Admission Certificate, it is mandatory to carry at least two passport size recent colour photographs, Original valid Photo-ID proof having the Date of Birth as printed on the Admission Certificate, such as:
A. Aadhaar Card/ Printout of E-Aadhaar,
B. Voter’s ID Card,
C. Driving License,
D. PAN Card,
E. Passport,
F. ID Card issued by University/ College/ School,
G. Employer ID Card (Govt./ PSU),
H. Ex-serviceman Discharge Book issued by Ministry of Defence.
I. Any other photo bearing valid ID card issued by the Central/ State Government.
- If Photo Identity Card does not have the date of birth printed on it then the candidate must carry an additional original document.
- PWD candidates using the facility of scribes as per Para 8.2 and 8.4 shall also be required to carry required Medical Certificate/ Undertaking/ Photocopy of the Scribe’s Photo ID Proof, as specified therein. Candidates without these documents will not be allowed to appear in the examination.
- Any other document mentioned in the Admission Certificate shall also be carried by the candidates while appearing in the Examination.
- Applications with blurred photograph and/ or signature will be rejected.

Tips to crack RBI GRADE B 2022
1: Update yourself with latest Pattern:
If we see the pattern for the last year, no change is observed in the exam pattern this year.
2. Have a deep understanding of syllabus (Subject-Wise):
- After knowing the pattern, the major task to be done is knowing about the chapters which are asked in the exam subject-wise.
- Accordingly you have to prepare the list of the topics which you need to work on a lot.
You must know about important topics to prepare for the exam.
3. Must practice previous years’ papers and check your performance:
- Once, you are aware of your strong and weak areas and start working on it, go through the RBI GRADE B 2022 previous year question papers and observe the trends that have been followed in all previous exams.
- Just like a real exam. Start attempting previous year papers in the allotted time without any disturbance or break.
- Note down your score, wrong questions and after analyzing it start working according to your performance.
- Generally, students are confident and assume that they have proficient knowledge on a particular topic/in a particular subject which is a good thing but attempting the question in a particular time frame with accuracy makes their selection chances much higher.
4. The more you practice, the closer to the success you are:
- Generally, it is found that students do not like getting involved in the subjects/topics they are weak which a wrong piece of act, working more and more on weak topics will make you successful.

After learning the basics, try to solve the questions in a short way. Learning short tricks initially takes much time but once are familiar with it helps you solve the questions within fraction of seconds. But Short tricks can be learnt only through a lot of practice.
Skip the difficult questions at initial stage:
At the initial stage of preparation avoid spending time on the questions which are difficult to solve.
Distribute the total time for each section:
These days every candidate has a mobile phone, keep the timer on while solving the question. Note down the time taken by you in solving various kinds of questions. According make the preference list to followed in the exam.
Become your own competitor:
Whenever you solve a set of questions and if it requires 30 minutes, try to solve them in 20 minutes. Initially you will not be able to manage but you know ‘practice makes a man perfect’
5. Prepare for RBI GRADE B 2022 Prelims, Mains and Tier 3 simultaneously:
- Generally, it is seen that candidates have a belief that first we should focus on prelims and thereafter on Mains which is not at all a good thought.
- In today’s phenomenon, there is no huge gap (max approx. 30 to 60 days) between the dates of Prelims and mains exams, which is not sufficient at all to complete the preparation of mains exam from 0 level.
- This time should be utilized only by practicing a number of mock tests.
- A candidate who deeply observes the equation of time gap and required studies, he/she works simultaneously for all the phases.

6. A well-managed study plan is important:
- The most important question for the best preparation for RBI GRADE B 2022 exam is ‘How to dedicate sufficient time to each subject’.
- Make the time table according to the topics/subjects which are weak or strong.
- Weak subject/topic must be allotted more time.
7. Practice Subject wise mock test:
- Sometimes, by practicing the whole test, candidates are unable to assess the taken time in attempting any subject individually. If you start taking subject wise test, you will become the master of time management.

- Switch on the timer and start practicing the complete set with same number of question and within the same time as provided in the real exam.

8. Design a complete plan:
- After following points mentioned above, it’s time to finally design your exam strategy.
- Make a proper list of topics/subjects that you should attempt first.
- Try not to waste much time on the questions which look tough on the first sight.
- Topics like Mensuration, Geometry, Trigonometry, Rearrangement, reading comprehension etc., should not be touched initially, it kills your time if you have not practiced a lot.
